Bringing this Idea to ROTA

well guy i am sharing an idea with you guys its from Retail but we can apply this thing here

Its about making Raiding Group in our guild and this is how i gonna work

A group will be consisting of 40 members with their main characters and alternatives however a person will be counted as 1 member no matter how many alternatives he got

Group Structure ----
Captain --- Group leader
Vice Captains --- 2 vice Captains
Treasurer --- Professions Master
Top 25 players under Captain and a Vice Captain will be part of 25 man raiding team which will do instances as soon as they come with equal distribution of DPS HEALS and TANKING among them
Next 10 Players under any of the Vice Captain they will focus on 10 man raiding as soon as instance come they will be relatively low GS players like 3.2k-4.0k for Ulduar with Equal distribution of DPS and HEAL
Remain 5 Players will Work under treasurer with these Professions
Mining and Jewel crafting
Tailoring and Enchanting
Herbalism and inscription
Alchemy and leather working
Blacksmith and Eng.

Group Working
On Forums Group leader will announce when will he lead next raid so members can sign up there or on guild chat before raid the group under treasurer will get mats farmed for Enchants Gems Glyphs items or potions needs to Max dps or healing in raid.

the top 25 members enters the Instance and kill the boss now it up to Leader whom he wants to get gear up first like he gives all tanking item from first boss to OT and since starting bosses drop items good for OT but not good for MT and later he gives drops to MT similarly he will select either to gears up healers first or DPS first (for clothiers), it will be all up to him and you guys should trust your leader, however leaders always prefers to gear up those people who are willing to help him in next runs of raid so he can gear up whole group, there will be alternative replacement from rest 15 people for next runs as soon as you get loot the treasurer group will do relative enhancement in their item

All patterns, orbs and stuff for professions will be given to respective Profession person of group


Individual Roles
Once you are geared up by your group you have help your group with your uber DPS TANKING AND HEALS to get other ppl geared up in group
person who will be completely geared up first must be present in raids
No Fighting over item given to someone else if you are given same slot item with lower STATS on last boss
One slot item to one person in one raid, no duplication of one slot items to same person no matter what...



END NOTES
* So this way we can gear up a whole Group of 40 people with out having NINJAS and in just 5-10 RUNS
* once all Main are geared up group can run instance for specific items and focus on doing more greater things

Things regarding Armour Token, armor token for the first run will all belong to Captain and Vice Captain and Treasurer as a sign of gratitude of running the group and making raid

Ulduar in 25 man Mode drop 190-200 items dividing it by 40 gives 5 items per person , have you ever been always lucky to win 5 items in 25 man run ??

And i'm very happy to see an Apprentice Rider coming with ideas to improve the guild

Interesting idea I like it.

I know World-first guilds like Ensidia and Paragon have members pay to be a part of this
But my biggest concern would be finding 30ish guildies who would be fine with wiping, trying out strategies, and generally putting a lot of time into raiding, and not even having a chance at rolling gear. I can see people being frustrated and getting all upset with it. On the flipside, I can also see people getting gears and doing their own thing afterwards, instead of helping out gear the other ones.
So if there is a way to make it work where everyone is happy, I'm game, but I must honestly wish you good luck. I sometimes can't stand the amount of begging for Ulduar raids, being told that X's toon doesn't need Y boss so can I save him a spot for the next one, and everyone leaving at the first wipe. Those days make me want to /demote myself so I don't have to lead. Of course, this could all be fixed once the guild cleanhouse initiative takes effect...

so true , i do really hate the fact that ppl are so impatient . they leave if the raid is only half full, they leave if there is just 1 wipe, they leave if it takes little time for leader to find people (and they don't even help).... On the slightest mistake on the leading side they would spam with "Noob leader " messages...
We would require a lot of time and a lot of Patience for this task...

Crazy you dont need do be leader. I dunno why all ppl think that high ranked in guild = raid leader? Its not, i dont like to be leader and im no leader, im in guild to help on my ways as best as i can.

This thing is good as it is bad, we lack ppl for it as we have ppl for it. We will have ppl for first part, but for second many ppl will just log alts or dunno what.

Premade raids can maybe be solution for problems, and some rating maybe or dunno.

There is 1 good addon that can make us happy, you ppl where using epgp addon and i was amazed how much ppl where using it in guild. If you can make them use that, maybe we can made them to use this addon i have to arrange GRaids as they are ment to be arranged.

I just need nan (nans brain is now Furious, ah my dear) hes more in PvP, but i will catch him and we gonna try it and see what he thinks, than we can present you that.
