Rank = Avaiable raids

Im creating this Topic for guildmasters/high ranks clarify which Graids are low ranks avaiable to assist since lately some graids have had some missconceptions to the rank system and I wish that all guildmembers know when to ask/demand for participation in a graid.

So that means if im helping in a Big raid like 25 ppl I can only lv up from a 10 ppl ?

Whoa!...;( , dunno...im agree on the rank lvl, knowin' how long have u been in the Guild, but there's some ppl full epic, Initiate, friends of some members....., i mean, wont they be in the 25 ppl raid?

to begin with, you said they are mostly well geared/high lvl people. therefore, we can assume they can get ranked-up just by being a friend of another regular.

But, admins must check : they are willing to stay in the guild; they will support the guild; they will be playing at least once every 14 days ( 15 days is kick.....>.> ...?) and other things that are taken into account

just my thought, but it if you are a goodplayer/person/moneymaker, you can get ranked from initiate fast, so which would be the problem?

It's not so much that Initiates don't have the 'right' to a guild raid, I see it as more they have the lowest priority. We've seen a lot of players ask for guild invite, and spend a week or two raiding with us before getting some gear and leaving, which is something we want to avoid. The online application system should help with that, but if we make the rule that you have to be in the guild for at least a week (if you need the promotion, /w me or any officer) before you can join the 25 man raids, then hopefully it'll weed out everyone who has no intention of helping out the guild.
It also solves the problem of under-geared players joining 25 mans; there is a raiding progression to get you ready for Naxx 25, and the better you follow it the easier it is for everyone in your group to down bosses. It's terrible when I outdps players specced to deal damage while I tank, and makes fights like Gluth, Patches, or KT very hard for everyone.
That said, if anyone needs someone to lead a Naxx 10 raid, I'll gladly do it!

Of course, if a full geared Initiate wants to help in a 25 man, I think they should be allowed. About undergeared people, I think the rank doesn't really matters, they shouldn't be allowed in raids where a full geared group is needed, like KT25.

im phakk lvl 80 warrior in the guild in case you guys are wondering I for one dont agree with this at all im well geared not fully but i got 25k hp unbuffed as a dps warrior i work / goto school i dont got time to rank up in ranks just to get item i get geared Way faster doing none graids Then i do agree and letting some people free ride then bounce on guild that is lame as well but no real way to solve this =/

note that EPGP is used now, so entering a raid is not the issue.

How do we get EPGP points, for example when graiding and killing a boss, and not other officer is online or etc. ?

shouldn't the add-on record it?

I believe there should always be an officer with you when doing a EPGP raid, since they are the only ones capable of modifying your points. Currently gbank officer and guild officers have enough rank to be able to give you points so let them know and they can help you with it.
