Hi guys I am hunter and i am sharing wat i know about them

Hello everyone.
I decided to share my findings with you, guys. As I start to play a new (for me) class, I do a lot of homework studying it. Here I will provide summarized info, which I think is important for every of you. Of course you can add your own notes here, maybe we will lack them here. So any helpful info is welcome, don't be shy smile

Spec issues:
BM is considered as best leveling spec, less dmg from spells, more dmg from pet, easier solo pet tanking, no mana issues, non-stop run. Tested, works perfectly: BM spec
Best leveling pet is Ferocity family. Pet talent tree can be found here

Most raiding DPS spec considered as MM, SV is a bit lower, but still viable. Just shifted to MM today. WIll try it today if there are any raids . Most DPS increasing pet in raids is Wolf, wolf talent tree is similar to leveling pet tree

Short stat summary:
Ratings
32.79 Hit Rating = 1% Hit
45.91 Crit Rating = 1% Crit
32.79 Haste Rating = 1% Haste

Attack Power
14 AP (attack power) = 1 dps (auto shot)

Agility
1 Agility = 1 AP
83.33 Agility = 1% crit or 1 Agil = .55 Crit Rating
79.19 Agility = 1% Dodge
1 Agility = 2 Armor

Armor Penetration
14 Armor Pen Rating = 1% armor reduction

Hunter Hit Rating
For a level 80 hunter, 32.79 hit rating gives you 1% hit.
263 Hit Rating is needed to reach the Hit Cap
With 3/3 Focused Aim 164 Hit Rating is needed to reach the hit cap
With 2/3 Focused Aim 197 Hit Rating is needed to reach the hit cap
With 1/3 Focused Aim 230 Hit Rating is needed to reach the hit cap

“Equivalent Attack Power” (EAP) - stat scaling for specific talent tree spec:

Those calculations can be automatically done in game with an addon PAWN.
